Daniel Ghita si-a luat revansa in fata egipteanului Hesdy Gerges pe care l-a facut KO dupa 2 minute si 50 secunde de la inceperea meciului. Croseul devastator de stanga l-a trimis pe Gerges la podea acesta avand nevoie de ingrijiri medicale. Daniel Ghita devine noul campion mondial al promotiei "It's Show Time" in cadrul galei organizate in Olanda.

This year the GP K-1 Final 16 will take place in China on 29 of October. Daniel Ghita is qualified automaticly because he was a finalist in 2010. His Opponent is not on the list for the moment but he is in Holland and he is training very hard.

După ce compania a fost vândută la începutul verii, s-a anunţat un turneu K-1 MAX. Evenimentul va avea loc pe 25 septembrie în Osaka, Japonia. Va fi un turneu de 8 oameni la categoria de 70 de kg şi se va numi K-1 World MAX 2011 Turneul Final, ceea ce înseamnă că nu este turneul oficial Grand Prix, dar ne duce cu un pas înainte spre un turneu full World Grand Prix.

For all of Daniel Ghita's fans: the match with Hary was canceled because this year is organized the GP K-1 Final in October.

The Romanian had some doubts in the first round, when the rink referee gave him a count after an unpermitted accidental head-butt from Erhan Deniz.
In the second round, Daniel gave his best and managed to give several decisive blows that the Turk could not defend, eventually knocking him out with a combination of uppercut to the liver and a high kick to the head.
This is Ghita’s second victory in 2011 and the fighter is already thinking of the match against Badr Hari in September.
